have we tried a switch to the default wp theme to see if it still is wrong?
nothing sticks out as an issue there - except its not working... next step would be to see if we could get ftp access to the simple press plugin so we can try inserting some debug code and see why the js is not getting loaded...

Could you try the WP theme route? I know it's a nuisance but it only should take a minute or two and it would then discount Thesis as being an issue....

Ok. I switched to the Twenty Eleven Theme.

And did tinymce start showing up or not? this was just a quick test to see if it was a conflict with theme - just rule that in or out real quick....
