Really - I don't recall that. So - ok 2!But this gives you a good opportunity to discover if your sites have anything in common - i.e., using the same theme or one of the same plugins that nay be causing some sort of conflict with the Windows Javascript engine. Worth a try anyway.
I asked him to write his experince in this thread, but for some reason that i do not know, he choosed to not share. My forum have more than 800 users and approx 20% of them use Internet Explorer, which means 160 users have this issue at my site alone.
I am using only a few plugins and all of them is used long before the latest update (when the TinyMCE issue appeared for the first time). The only plugin we had in common was Contact form 7.
Good afternoon,
I am trying hard to get the TinyMCE Editor visible too. But after working myself through the options given in the topic with no success in one of the sites its still missing.
This is very, vey strange. In the english site the TinyMCE is perfect. In the spanish subdomain it does not show up. Both have the same plugins, same configuration, same articles.... jeje.

hard to look at since guests cannot post... but assume you have enabled the sp plugin through the sp plugins page? and set if as the default? would be worth going to your sp profile page on front end and making sure that tinymce is the selected editor for you...
on the spanish site, did you select a language for the tinymce plugin in the options?

Thanks for replying
...enabled the sp plugin through the sp plugins page - Yes
...and set if as the default - Yes
...making sure that tinymce is the selected editor for you - Yes
... select a language for the tinymce plugin in the options - There is no such option, is there? Anyway, in Components > Editor (TinyMCE) in spanish the site is blank, while in english I have "Components - Editor - TinyMCE Settings"

yes, on the tinymce options panel in the admin, you can set the language for tinymce in the pulldown... since its third party sw, they have to do the localization... was just checking in case something peculiar with the spanish language of tinymce might be causing the problem...
but if you have not selected it, then obviously not an issue...
can you either temporarily enable guest posting or PM a temp login account to myself, yellow swordfish and BrandonC so we can take where we can actually post...

Hola Mr Swordfish,
I did not install in the german site still. But now it works on the spanish site.
I have uninstalled everything, downloaded everything again and made a new install from scratch. Something must have been missing there. Everything fine right now.
Thank you very much.
Edit. Thank you Mr. Papa too....
