The best I can do is post screen captures of what I input and then show the output. As you should be able to see from the screen captures all I input was bold,italic,underline - everything was output.
As I mentioned ideally I only need to see Bold, Italic, Underline, Paste options, bullets, justify, links and spell check.
Just as a comparison, Post #5 shows what happens when I use swordfishes input - still does not work as expected.

sorry, you are not answering my question... if you put in what you want and save, does it stick?? if you leave that admin panel and come back, are your changes still there?

The screen captures are from hours ago. I have revisited the site several times since then. So yes the changes do stay.

so you still have not answered the questions in post #6... regarding caching and other plugins/theme potentially doing things to the wp editor (its not our tinymce, but the standard wp editor displayed on front end)... please answer them...
might be worth, at this point, also sending us (yellow swordfish and mr papa) some temp credentials to log in and look around... please make the temp account a wp admin AND sp admin... be sure to copy both of us and include a link to this topic so we know what its about... if that works for you, of course, please do so via PM...

Not using any caching plugins. I might revisit this issue at a later date.
