TinyMCE issue on update from v1.2 to V2.0

Did all my updates today in a maintenance session and worked well except direct updates via SSH2 ( separate thread) and my favorite: TinyMCE!

When I updated to Version 2.0, it did not come up in any configuration I tried. I took out all plugins - still no fun.

Falling back to Version 1.2 at first did show the same picture, but then - after removing the plugins 'wordpress', 'wpdialogs' and 'sphelp' - it came up as it should!

My guess is that I've run into versioning issues again or may be missing plugins.

Taking a look at the installed plugins in V2.0 reveals that 'sphelp' is included but not 'wordpress' and 'wpdialogs'. Rightfully, I thought 'sphelp' should work, but fails as soon as I put it in config. And why did it work in Version 1.2 before upgrading SP to Vers.5.2.latest and WP 3.5.1 - it was not even in the tinyMCE plugin directory?

And on top of it: I am running tinyMCE advanced and MCEComments plugins without any problems on the same installation after upgrading WP and SP.

Can anyone help?

sorry,  you have confused me...  what is going on?

If you really have version 2.0.4 of tinymce, then I would do an uninstall and then reactivate the tinymce plugin..

and sphelp was not part of 1.2, so confused as to your point there too... sorry...

And on top of it: I am running tinyMCE advanced and MCEComments plugins without any problems on the same installation after upgrading WP and SP

so are things working or not?  confused... :(

Version 2.0 does not work in any config, Version 1.2 only works with reduced set up!

Did it the procedure (uninstall Vers 1.2, install vers. 2.0, fail, uninstall vers 2.0, install vers1.2 -> works) several times - no success with Vers 2.0!

and sphelp was not part of 1.2, so confused as to your point there too... sorry...

What about 'wordpress' and 'wpdialogs'? Were they part of 1.2 or are they part of vers 2.0?

Things work in SP only with V1.2 reduced setup - other plugins on the same installation still work after upgrades signalling that this might be a SP-only issue!

You keep referring to '2.0'. Are you actually and definitively talking about 2.0.4 - which is the latest update to TinyMCE?
And I am not sure what you mean by 'wordpress' and 'wpdialogs' except that the latter is a WP code file.
We recently changed from using our own version of TinyMCE for using the Wp supplied version. It is possible that there is a conflict with one or both iof the other tinyMCE related plugins you have active. It would be helpful if you could deactivate them just to check.
