are you using combined js caching? if so, please try clearing it on forum - toolbox - housekeeping...
if no better, then its likely a js script conflict... but we would have to see in in action on the site to see that... you can check your browser console for any errors...

Mr Papa,
Thanks for the feedback.
1.) I don't know if I am using combined js caching. Never set it or changed any settings for it. NEW install. Just test use thus far.
2.) Per your suggestions I cleared combined js caching and combined css caching. NO change.
3.) Browser Console
[ReferenceError: wdplugin_url is not defined[Learn More] editor_plugin.js:17:3]
Please advise
Basil
OK - do you have any other WordPress plugin active that adds components to the TinyMCE editor? For example - does that error name mean anything to you - wdplugin? Anything with the 'wd' prefix?
If so could you try deactivating it briefly and re-testing and then let us know..?
If not - any plugins that might add to tinyMCE editor regardless of that name? This would be something aimed specifically at adding features to the blog post editing.

No, this is a new install. The first and only plugin added to Simple-Press was TinyMCE
