Dear Mr. Papa,

All problems finally resolved, after messing around for 3 dayswinkYahoooooo!!!

Wordpress Plugin Organizer plugin rescued us from this mess :-)   I installed Plugin Organizer and disabled all the WP plugins from loading, except SP, for /forum/ slug.  Everything now runs smooth.

Thanks for your help.  It is very much appreciated.

Well, good news! Just when I was ready to engage again. :) or at least later tonight.

Haven't heard of that plugin before. Will have to remember that in the future for these quirky ones. Thanks for the tip.

Glad we got there one way or the other. On Sep 3, 2012 5:22 PM, "Simple:Press Support" wrote:

I was also not aware of that plugin. I Googled for "Selectively Disabled WP Plugins for a specific Page" and it came up at the top of the search.  I will give this plugin a five stars.  You can selectively disable unwanted plugins for each page and post.  It is also good for prevent loading unnecessary plugins for each page, and resolve a lot of plugins conflicts.

SimplePress does not need any WP plugins, as it loads its own plugins.  The Plugin Organizer is a great companion for SimplePress to disable all the WP plugins for the forum page.  It will save users a lot of troubleshooting headaches and time.

Take care, and thanks for your help.

depends on what the site does and where... you might still need some functionality on the page... but, as you point out, certainly great for those cases when you dont need it...

thanks!

I left only Askimet, Jetpack and four other plugins from WP for the Forum page, of course Simple Press , and rest I disabled from loading for /Forum/ slug. I particularly disabled loading all the plugins which use jquery.

Of course, it depends what a user need, as you said.

Good :-)   It works great for me.  I configured different pages with only plugins which are needed for that page.  Beside conflicts, I have page load time improvement, as unnecessary plugins for each page are not loaded.

When you look at the source being generated is the jQuery.syntax.js file being loaded? And does it have content when loaded?

No it  is not, but I realized it a bummer error.  I realized the error is comming from Home page not Forum page.  I will disable the SimplePress plugin laoding for the Home page.  That should take care of it.
