Whenever I try to embed a video vie tinyMCE I get the following error:
Unable to save
This post contains an iframe which are disallowed
This is simply from using the TinyMCE editors own media function. I get the same error when including youtube's iFrame embed ottion via HTML in TinyMCE for obvious reasons. I understand the risks here, but how can I allow my users to submit video?
Does anyone have a solution or work-around? I have directly post a link and it shows the video but using this method I have no control over the size...
as the error message indicates (and posted here multiple times) you cannot post an iframe in the post... its a huge security risk for any user to do so (nothing to do with media) - thus its stripped out...
besides, you should be using the object method or more preferably the wp oembeds method (paste in the url - that's it)... you can control the size of the oembeds on wp - settings - media...

Thanks again for the prompt reply.
I searched the forums and found some of the other posts you reference but they were all from people trying to use the embed option. I was attempting to use TinyMCE (at the time I thought it made a difference)
I Googled the oembeds and checked the setting you mentioned. Everything is working. Thanks for the help.
I'm always nervous purchasing support memberships as they are often a waste of money. I'm definitely impressed and will recommend your software in the future.
