Hi Guys,

We have a problem with the TinyMEC editor.

It works great in Firefox, Safari, Chrome and IE10 but in IE9 it does not show the icons.

Please have a look at the attachment and point me in the right direction.

Thank you very much in advance

well, there is not a general issue with IE 9 as we routinely test with IE 8, 9 and 10 (did you try here with IE 9 - works fine for me)....  so its likely to come down to js conflict on your site...  since each browser (and version) utilizes different js engine, not too uncommon...

do you have a link to your site?

Hi Mr Papa,

Thank you very much for your reply.

The website is http://problem-with-post-edit-.....com/forum/

It would be amazing if you could have a look and let me know what's wrong with it.

Much appreciated,

Jan

unfortunately, your site does not allow guest posting, so I cannot try...

that said, looking at the site, your site, probably the wp theme, is doing a lot of specific IE 9 functionality...  or rather less than IE 9 stuff... but it will treat IE 9 differently... and IE 9 is much less standard compliant than IE 10...

but even more to the point, your site is loading A LOT of js and css...  and IE 9 has a hard limit of 32 css files and 32 js files... you might be exceeding that limit...

could you possible go to forum - options - global settings and try enabling the combined js and css caches and see if that has any impact?
