reading up on it I have to assume that your MySQL setting called 'auto_increment_increment' is set to 2. As I said before, this was not always the case looking at earlier records in your DB which suggests it was changed after you started the site and created the DB. It is most curious as to why this should happen and, perhaps of more importance to you, who or what made the change...
