1.  When you go to a discussion in one of the forums,   instead of hitting Add a Reply,  you press the quotes button.  

2.  A field opens up at the bottom of the screen,  the quoted text is above,  you type below.   

3.  When I go to hit the "Submit" button,  it hangs there a minute and then resets back to the top of the screen and you don't see your new post.   

4. At that point,  you scroll down to the bottom of the screen and see the new Quote you just typed and an error message saying it won't let you save it because there is a link in the text.   I suspect the link error is a spam blocking,  so that spammers can fill your forum with links to their viagra sites.

Here is the key -  this does not happen every time you use the quote.    The pattern is only on the discussions where you started the discussion and used one of the smileys in your post.  If there is no smiley,  there is no error message.  

So I went back,  logged in as the admin.   Went to one of the posts where could not quote,  removed the smiley,  saved the post.  Logged out,  logged back in as Member and had no problems.

There must be a bug in the smiley feature for the new forum.     Do you have any notes on this?   Can you give us any information on how to fix this?   Are there know problems with the Quote button?
