Yes I saw your post !
2 things then I go to sleep, I changed the language back to english for you, could that changed something ?
I was trying several setting from my work, now I'm back home I see that it's working, could that be a cache problem ?
Thanks anyway for your help, I will try some more thing tomorrow, for now I really need to go to sleep !

changed what to English? forum still in French for me... or do you just mean uploader stuff? if latter, put back to French - might be a localization issue then...
I dont see a caching plugin on your site... if you mean browser cache, dont think so...

Hello Mr Papa !
I renamed the plugins translation file at this address /public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-language/sp-plugins
sp-plup-fr_FR.mo --> _sp-plup-fr_FR.mo
and then I was able to upload images !
Now that I have switch back _sp-plup-fr_FR.mo --> sp-plup-fr_FR.mo it is not possible to upload anymore !
It seems that the issue is identified ! But I have no idea about how to fix it !
Do you have an Idea ?
Didero
Don't know if that could be a clue in that issue but I saw under the PLUPLOAD plugin option that there is a setting "Plupload language code" that is set to "en". When I try to change it to "fr" and save the change, once I go back to the same option it is still set to "en"!
I tried to change some others setting and it worked fine, just the "Plupload language code" remains to "en" even after I set it to "fr"
Ok I tried to change that "Plupload language code" setting directly on database, I found the table wp_sfoptions where a there is a field option_name that have the value as follow:
------------------------------------
a:20:{s:12:"showinserted";b:1;s:9:"thumbsize";s:2:"80";s:10:"imgquality";s:3:"100";s:12:"thumbquality";s:3:"100";s:10:"imagetypes";s:19:"jpg, jpeg, gif, png";s:11:"imageinsert";b:1;s:12:"imagemaxsize";s:5:"51200";s:13:"imagemaxwidth";s:1:"0";s:14:"imagemaxheight";s:1:"0";s:11:"mediainsert";b:0;s:10:"mediatypes";s:80:"dcr, mov, qt, mpg, mp3, mp4, mpeg, avi, wmv, wm, asf, asx, wmx, wvx, rm, ra, ram";s:12:"mediamaxsize";s:1:"0";s:10:"mediawidth";s:3:"320";s:11:"mediaheight";s:3:"240";s:9:"filetypes";s:18:"txt, rtf, doc, pdf";s:11:"filemaxsize";s:5:"51200";s:10:"prohibited";s:106:"php, php3, php5, js, html, htm, phtml, asp, aspx, ascx, jsp, cfm, cfc, pl, bat, exe, dll, reg, cgi, sh, py";s:12:"useforphotos";b:0;s:4:"lang";s:2:"en";s:9:"dbversion";i:1;}
--------------------------------------
I changed the value (in red) to "fr". Now the setting in "Plupload language code" is "fr" and remains like that.
But unfortunately, that change had no impact and I'm still unable to get the "file uploader" showing up when the translation plugin is active.
Ok now I renamed again the plugin translation file sp-plup-fr_FR.mo –> _sp-plup-fr_FR.mo , so it'is not active.
The "upload attachments" is now working properly (but the label is not translated of course), and the file uploader shows up but what is new, is that the file uploader now appears in french. So the change I made(described in the previous post ) in the datatbase had an effect on the file uploader language.
So clearly there is a problem using the translation file "sp-plup-fr_FR.mo", why ? I have no idea !
Didero
why edit the db to set the language??? its in input on the forum - components - uploads admin panel...
okay, its possible we didnt escape properly some localization... will take a look... there has been some changes there already... might could send you copy to try, but want to look first...
