how did you embedd?? you cannot use an iframe due to security concern...

I would get the sp file uploader plugin which allows you to upload images, media and files...

Yes i have that plugin, but problem is that i have upload those clips via FTP account. So i have it on one folder.

I just go to insert/embled media and put file url to my avi clip.

Is there a way we can use the iframe option in the media embed UI? My forum is on a membership site so I don't have the security concerns of a public forum. Either way, as administrators it would be nice to have the option to accept the security concerns at our own risk.

At the moment it would mean editing core code (some php and some javascript) which just makes future updates difficult for you but I can tell you what to do if need be.

I have however, opened a ticket this end so that we can discuss this once again and re-evaluate the situation.

SO let's step back a bit.

What happens when you use the media button on the toolbar? What type of media file is it? And are you completing the correct options? Does it show up in the media dialog preview?
