I have a bit of an odd issue here. A couple of times over the last day or so I have gone to my forum page and and seen the "Welcome back 'username' please log in to post" default message only the username has been another registered users name, not mine. I must stress that this is another registered user who I don't know and isn't using my computer.

All I can think of is that it is something to to do with the W3 Total Cache plug-in. Yet to play around with it enough to prove it but just wondered if anyone has a simple answer before I spend time on it. Problem is, I'm not sure how to replicate the issue on demand.

If you are using W3 Total Cache with the forum page then that would explain it. And all of your users will be seeing the same anomalies.

You can't cache the page because of the dynamic nature of the data. As I understand it you need to exclude the forum page on ALL of the cache panels.

Thanks Swordfish, yes now found the option in W3 Total Cache to add pages/directories that should be excluded and all OK so far,
