when trying to activate:

Editor (QuickTags – BBCode)

Editor (QuickTags – HTML)

Editor (TinyMCE – Rich Text)

then we get an 404 error, all of the plugins on the screenshot are uploaded/installed with the SP plugin uploader screenshot here.

All plugins are located in the "public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins" find screenshot here

thank you for your help

Assuming all the paths are correct - and as far as I can see they are now - then the only thing that comes to mind is permissions on the folders and files. Permissions or ownership.

Can you check the permission and folder ownership of the /sp-resources and the individual plugin folders to ensure they are the same as the parent /wp-content folder?

By the way - the errors you pasted from the log earlier in the thread actually indicate a problem with some WP post/page data. This should not effect SP or the setting of the SP permalink but it does suggest that the post_parent column in the WP 'posts' table is not being populated as it should be.

Yes - 755 should be fine, But I am more concerned about the folders ownership.

just to be clear...  by ownership, he means the UID and GID of the directories...  would typically be name:name where name is the owner...  compare it to wp-content

you can usually do via ssh, ftp or your file manage in control panel of host...  or you could ask your host...

Well that - of course - is both good and bad news!

So we need to determine what it is about your environment that is different to other users as this is a unique report.

I think the next move has to be to talk to your host. Can you send them the plugin activation link url and ask them if they can identify why it 404's?

Additionally - ask them specifically (1) if they have imposed mod_security on your server and (2) if it could be the brackets in the query variable that is causing the problem on your server.

Hi there,

just got reply from hosting company:

Hi,

safe_mode is disabled on the server where your account is located.
I'm sorry, but it is the problem with your plugin not with the server. I'm sorry, I would love to help you out here, but you have to understand that we do not make the software and its not possible for us to fix this for you. You will have to speak to the creator of the software to get the best possible support. If it has anything to do with the server, we will be more than glad to help you.

it appears that justhost support is not too interested in the matter as they have answer nothing but the safe_mode is disabled.I tried other combinations:activate the plugin by itself and then when bulk activate all 3 editors, all of the editor are activatedsmile But now i cannot type in the txt field or put smileys in... , can press the buttons or type but cannot see anything changes, it's like a white canvas. Tried to highlight as i thought it may be white font but out of luck here

I really appreciate you support and thank you for all your effort.
