Who's Online plugin not working - shows Offline status

I have Who's Online plug-in v1.2.7 installed on my website at http://ehangar.com/forum

It doesn't seem to be working any more.

At the bottom of the forum pages, the section showing Currently Online does not show any number.

In individual posts, under the poster's name, the button shows orange and "Offline" for my account name, even though I am logged in and viewing my post.

How do I fix this?

It can't really just stop working unless something has changed. That is unlikely to be a database issue which, if the case, would normally show other, more sever symptoms.

It almost sounds like you have installed a WordPress cache plugin. Might that be the case?

I also have this issue. It stopped working all of sudden, although no changes were made to the forum. Please advise.

Same questions really... Things don't just work differently... Something had to have changed... Doesn't have to be sp but could be wp theme or other plugin...

Same question on caching...

Only other thing that comes to mind is to check your server error log... Perhaps your db has crashed and a table news repairing...

That makes sense.

I am indeed having a major problem with the SP db and was about to start another thread about it to ask for help. If they are linked, and I should think they are, then fixing the db will also get this feature working again.

Thank you for your reply.

If a table needs a repair then yes - quite possibly. Quick and easy to find out. Do let us know the outcome.

We do recommend regular db table optimisation. Plugins like wp-dbmanager can be useful as they can schedule these tasks and they will run in the background.
