I have altered my header and functions.php like this tutorial http://dottech.org/101602/prob.....cal-guide/ to get yoast seo to work with simple:press but it seems to have only added the /forum/ but not individual forum posts.

Has anyone found a solution as I have a website other than only the forum and would not want to break anything

I have paid for simple:press which isn't good as I can't get the posts indexed and of what I see nobody has actually found a solution to this anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated

a solution to what???  you haventr really stated a problem...  we have many, many users using  yoast and sp, including myself...

there are some changes coming in the next sp version due to some yoast changes, but we have posted multiple times here the answer...

do you have his ugly permalinks option turned off?

or this:  https://simple-press.com/suppo.....2/#p124538

or this:  https://simple-press.com/suppo.....2/#p125578

if none of those work, how about a screenshot of your sp seo options on forum - components - seo...

and make sure on the wp page the forum is on, you are not setting options or title requirements...
