While you are adding the alternative icons stuff to SP5.1 would you consider having another alternative for locked topics as well? That would be the a very worthwhile enhancement.
The old codgers on my forum have just spent all morning complaining that they can't post on a thread, yes because the thread was locked. I need to make this VERY obvious!

It should be showing a locked icon where the Add Reply button would normally be. I am not seeing it either. Will create a ticket for investigation.

and you can already replace the icon in your theme with a different one if you want...
interesting... was working recently.... will have to look into.. remember, admins can still post when locked...

Are you sure you themes have the proper image for the locked topic icon? it would be: sp_TopicStatusLock.png

Steve my theme is working correctly but it seems that it's not obvious enough for many of my users. So I repeat my earlier request; while doing the alternative icon work for V 5.1 perhaps an alternative topic icon could be considered.

We can certainly consider it but in the meantime you could always duplicate the lock icon to appear before the topic name to perhaps clarify this.

agree with Andy... its a theme and template file so you can output mostly whatever you want wherever you want...
