Adding text to the post rating container before "number of stars"

Hi, First let me just say this plugin kicks ass and after fumbling around with bbpress I've made my final choice.
Secondly, I'm using the "post-ratings" plugin and although it's a useful function I'm afraid my users aren't going to know what purpose it serves.
Is there anyway to add some text inside the container before the "0" or "number of stars" given?
