Title says it all really.

I need a mobile theme but writing one is probably a little beyond my ability at this stage. I'd be most happy if someone could help me.

I have been messing with creating one. Any ideas on how you would like it to look or flow? It's not an easy task to make sure everything looks good on all the different phones, tablets and other mobile devices.

Brandon I don't have any form ideas to be honest but maybe something not dissimilar to list view would be a start? I would size it for a typical Android phone, rather than a tablet. I'd be happy to give up the test site that I have for messing about if it helps, or I can certainly act as the world's biggest critic!

What is interesting is that I thought that I had tested things to death on the test site but oh no. Give it to our members and they have managed to throw up a few 'new' things already!

Sounds like we have the same idea which is to simplify the forum views for mobile use.

Thanks for the offer but there is a test site that we can use. Maybe when there is a mobile theme that is ready for some alpha/beta testers we can use it. I, for one, would love feedback from as many mobile devices as I can get.

I assume you use an Android phone? If so what are you seeing now on your site that you don't like? Feedback on how things work with what there is now helps. For instance... Buttons working or sized wrong, text size to big/small, too much info on the screen?

Also how do it fit width wise on your mobile device? Does it fit completely in the screen, do you have to scroll left or right to see everything? If you have a mobile device that can change orientation how does it look in portrait mode compared to landscape?

I have both android phone and ipad...  its functional on the android - yes you have to slide the screen around...  about the only thing that doesnt work is the admin bar scroll bars, but thats not an sp issue but an android one...

The Android phone can use different browsers which can make things problematic.

There are also ways to force the entire width to be shown on a smaller mobile screen. Depending on what WP theme one uses and their use of sidebars any SP theme probably would need to be tweaked to match their site.
