The title doesn't quite explain what I mean but I have been diligently updating things but not been updating my theme which is essentially the default theme with a new color 
overlay and the tweaks for displaying the actual post times in group view and forum view.
Is there a quick way of comparing the files, I could do it manually I suppose but that is so tedious. I have done svn up to revision 6979 and my theme seems to work fine.

really the only way is manual comparison... but if its working and does what you want, that's most of the battle... you just won't know what you are missing.

For me the easiest way to compare is using diff.
It's a command line thingie that is used for creating patches. You just look at the output and can easily see the changes.
Maybe Windows has something like it?

my editor does those compares but still manual process... or I can do it visually in the editor side by side...

I can do it using either a program called beyond compare or notepad++ has something similar. So I was right, it's a labour of love. I don't suppose that you fancy adding my lovely overlay to the default theme do you. That would solve all my problems 🙂

How can I send it to you? PM me some details. It looks really good with my theme and so should do with other similar themes, it is based on the old structured tan and is very simple. I'm sure that it could be improved as well.
