lol, sorry again assumed the other portion had been addressed in the topic, but was too lazy to read the 7 pages!be sure to pass the second argument to sp_BreadCrumbs() template function empty too... so something like:
sp_BreadCrumbs('homeLink=', '');
the second argument, the empty string above is the label for the home link... both the link and the label need to be empty for it to not show...
Worked perfectly... thanks Mr Papa!
1 more question: is it possible to remove the image (or have a custom image) just for the beginning listing? So it doesn't lead with the image, or leads with a different image than the image between breadcrumbs.
you can change the icon by the argument to the first string... by default its sp_ArrowRight.png
icon=xxxx
where xxx is the filename of the icon you have put in your theme/images folder...

I've done that, and have replaced the arrow with a ">" image. But now the list of breadcrumbs starts with a ">" which looks funny. Is there a selector which targets just the first image so i can use something unique there? (or just remove the first image altogether)
ohc.scottyshideout.com/questions is where my forum is located, if you want to take a look.

Matthew Bonner said I really like that look of the breadcrumbs, it looks more tasteful and flows better. I want that look for my forum, can you possibly simplify what I need to do to achieve this?
Simplifying it into a forum post would be hard to do. From the original creation we changed things quite a bit and even changed them from the time you first asked about it to now.
Then we tweaked things to fit this forum's theme which is all CSS and doesn't use an overlay. So what works here may not work without a bunch a tweaks for someone else. We also went from 1 background to 2 then to 3 and back to 2 and during that I changed some things and then changed some back and changed something else. Now I couldn't really say what has been changed from the original.
The functions Mr. Papa posted before works fine for the arrows that are all the same. It has since been changed so that we can use a the rounded background for the last 'arrow'
Probably the best way to see the changes and get an idea of what exactly was changed is to look at the changes in the svn file. http://websvn.simple-press.com.....wchanges=1
Start with #8771 and go up from there. Also the backgrounds you mention Arr and ArrH are no longer used here. If you still need them I can zip and attach them for you.
Thanks! Looks awesome, I honestly don't know if it's a mistake or your design but my breadcrumb tree has the look I wanted to achieve but it does some weird slot machine roll over the hover effect lol.
I'm truly becoming a fan of you guys' work, it's everything a forum plugin should be and your support is accurate and easy.
Duke Let, No I am afraid its one icon fits all... we dont have a separate way to specify an home icon from the other separator icon... but its not a bad idea... I will open a ticket and can maybe even get it into the release coming up in couple weeks...

Matthew, might be worth trying to clear your browser cache for the images to update... I assume you are on the version where its only 2 images, right?

Cool, thanks for the quick reply. I'm just getting over-picky at this point anyway, i think lol
ticket open... probably a 10 minute code change... like the idea... should make new version unless testing proves problematic...
