I'm using the default theme with the grey overlay, when I'm viewing posts in my admin queue there's no way to see what parts are quotes and what parts are the new response which makes it really painful to monitor new posts via the admin queue.
Can someone give me info on how to specifically change the bg color for the blockquote tag in the admin queue area?

Also... and I'm not sure if this belongs here... when I clicked on a forum topic in the admin queue in the past it would take me to the first post in the queue in that topic, now it takes me to the last post which isn't particularly helpful, any way to change that?

the admin bar has always go to the last post needing moderation as far as I know... dont remember otherwise...
firefox and firebug are great for viewing and tweaking css... grey overlay??? do you mean shades of grey?
so, you probably noticed, but the background of a quotes post is a large image of quotation marks... that is part of the overlay css...
the admin bar, being a plugin, provides a single css... but you can easily override it by providing a css file of the same name in your sp theme... and then style the blockquote to some color... for example
.spAdminQueueThisPost blockquote {background: #000000;}
