Assuming you have the child theme set up, you would need to copy in the template 'spGroupView.php' from Unified's templates folder to your child themes templates folder.

Then if you locate the function sp_ForumIndexLastPost on line 121 - You should see two phrases in brackets. The first is the label and the second is the tooltip, so just add a 'By' on the end of the first phrase so it should appear:
