I created a custom theme based on the default theme so I could add the thanks plugins etc and wondered now that the default theme has been upgraded what do I need to do to my custom theme to keep it up to date.
I cant remember the change I made to the theme or which files I edited.

We document any core theme changes that are made for each release and generally these can be optionally applied. This document also lists any new template display functions that may be of interest to users and which they may like to add to their current theme. You can find each release document here:

I found the post in your FAQ and been through and implemented the changes the only changes I have lost are to increase the height of the signatures. Where do I find that please.
WinMerge is a very handy progam
Also updating the theme has solved my IE 10 issue

The height for the signature is not in the CSS file but in the template function call - in this case the spTopicView.php template.
Find the signature display function - there is only one - and you will see a 'height' argument being passed - just change that number to whatever you need...
