If you are referring to the 'home' link in the breadcrumbs - the base link, then you can remove that in the template.

Open the spHead.php template from your theme, and add &homeLink= in to the arguments. Having nothing after the equals will in turn create no link and start your breadcrumbs with forum. Your breadcrumb function may look different depending what arguments you have in place, but I have put the homeLink argument in so you can see how it should fit:

sp_BreadCrumbs('tagClass=spLeft spBreadCrumbs&tree=1&homeLink=', __sp('Home'));
