Support Forum
Greets! Have just installed 5.0 in a WP 3 (up to date) site using the ClassiPress theme. When the forum page is opened, I'm getting a sort of 'dupe' field for "updated topics" and "Select forum". See enclosed screen shot. They appear to be a incorrectly rendered version of the pull-down menu they are over-lapping. This may be a bug or theme conflict, but I'd just like to get rid of the extra item.
I have created a child-theme from "default" and would like to simply NOT display these extra fields. In Firebug, the css appears to be:
a class="selectBox selectBox-dropdown" style="display: inline-block; -moz-user-select: none;" title="" tabindex="0"
and
a class="selectBox selectBox-dropdown" style="display: inline-block; -moz-user-select: none;" title="" tabindex="0"
If I change the display to 'none' they go away - but I can't seem to find the actual css code that is responsible!
Could anybody point me to the style-file where this is? I've searched with EditPad+ and it finds no ref to "selectBox".
You need to jpoin this thread: https://simple-press.com/suppo.....rom-4-5-1/
We are still waiting to hear from other users on that thread regarding possible fixes. Will not your fix also remove the search box on your home page?

Yes - have now joined that thread, and included the info that it seems (for me) to be coming from ClassiPress. And yes - my ham-fisted fix may kill other uses of that "Box widget". For the first round I just wanted to see if I could 'perturb' the errant display in anyway. Will keep plugging away and let you know if anything works.
