Silver member looking for support.

I've been through countless threads and have tried all suggestions, but our forum page isn't loading the template(s). They are set up correctly and in the right location. Can I give someone login info so they can take a look? Our site isn't live but I can provide an IP address so you can fake out your host file, as well as WP login info.

Thanks.

EDIT:  To clarify, when I look at my forum page, it has no styles applied. If I look at the source code, I can see where it appears to be pulling in the sky-blue style sheet for the Default theme, but there is no styling. If I use Firebug to check the styles on elements, there are none applied.

try going to forum - options - global display settings and disable the css caching... sounds like your server/problem-with-post-edit-buttonost is set up to not allow php parsing of css files...

Thanks for your help Mr Papa. I had the same issue. It was after doing an WP, simple:press & theme/plugin update. I am "back in business" after checking on here for a solution. Regards, Mike.

Disable css caching:  I did that already. Numerous times. Like I said, I've gone over the forum extensively and have tried all the suggestions. I've tried all sorts of combinations of activating & deactivating options, global options, integration options, different templates, etc... I've read all of the explanations for what these options do, and have read the documentation.

Is this something that I need to fix on the server/problem-with-post-edit-buttonost side? If so, are there any specific things that I need to do or ask for? Is asking to "allow php parsing of css files" going to be a clear request?

Thanks.

If you have disabled it and that didn't solve t then that probably is not the issue.

As you know Firebug, open up the forum with Firebug open - select the CSS option from the top menu and then, below that, open the script listing and select the forum CSS. What do you get? Any error shown? Or is it full of the page HTML instead of css?

It shows up in the list of css files but when I select it there are no rules in the file.

For whatever reason it isn't parsing the php file into css.

so try changing the sp theme to the css only theme and see if that works...  if your server is blocking php parsing of css files, not much we can do...
