Forum stuck in mobile view

Using the default theme for Simple:Press, my layout is stuck in what looks like the mobile view format. A plugin upgrade must have caused this, as nothing had been changed with the wordpress template prior to the display change. I am unsure when this occured. I looked at the forum one day and it was broken.

try going to the forum admin > Options > Global options and turning off the option over on the right to compress and combine CSS files. See if that helps.
