suicide?  not worth it over a website... :)

we had someone else with similar issue with GA who was explicitly tracking user clicks...  the GA plugin doesnt handle other plugins adding attributes to the link tags, which is perfectly acceptable...  if you turn off the user click tracking, it will right itself..

Did solve the issue

But that would be nice to track events on site. I do have downloads on that site...

don't disagree...  but the GA stuff needs to get added correctly... have you tried his support?  if he thinks it us and could provide where we have done something, we could change, but just dont see it right now...
