so that would lead me to believe some other plugin (or theme is doing odd things)...  setting the use full api option ensures that we return our content for the wp the_content filter instead of outputting directly for improvement gains... so if its coming out in the head tag, then something else must be invoking the_content (and outputting) too early...

so on forum - integration - page and permalink, what other options do you now have set in the integration option section?  I would try making sure that display in the loop is set...

On the page "Filter WP list pages" and "Load Javascript in footer" are chosen.

I'll enable "Limit forum display to with WP loop." Is there a way to to get clues as to what might be interfering? Disabling plugins to see if any of them are causing this problem is just a huge hassle, as you tend to lose settings.

lets try the option first. wink

but why would plugins lose settings on disable??  poor design?  they should come right back if you reactivate... but I digress...

we can probably give you some other debug code if needed to track down where its coming from...

Like I said, I already tried the "Limit forum display to with WP loop." It does not work now, it did not work before. With that option enabled, there is no forum at all on the page, not even in the header.

Debug code would be great.

sorry, I dont see where you said you tried the option AFTER enabling the wp api option...  out of curiosity, what do you have the bypass head option set to?

so go back to the wp api option only...  edit file sp-forum-framework.php... find function sp_render_forum()...

at the top, after the global statement, lets add this:

bshow(10);

the load up a page...  that should do a debug backtrace and show you how you got there...  now if this is appearing in the head tags, you may only see it when you view the page source...

Okay, I think I have a solution I can live with. PageLines has some default templates and I worked with those until I found one that worked. Not sure *why* it worked -- why this template is different from the others -- but it did.

Also i had already a forum page (forum-2) and all I've done is to select the page where i wanted the forum to appear at the forum page details right on top, updated the Forum permalink and then selected the options as on pic.

Worked like a charm, with help of Mr Papa. Hope that helps smile
