I thought this might be a popular topic but a search did not bring any results. I simply want to eliminate the sidebar, stretching the forum page out wide.

perhaps a few topics, but not many because its a wp theme issue and not simple press... we just use the content space that your wp theme gives us... the space is based on your page template in use for the forum page by your wp theme... most decent themes these days come with multiple page templates and they usually include a full width template... edit the wp page the forum is on and see if you can select a full width page template for it... if not, you will have to create the page template yourself for the theme... check first, but we can give you some links and pointers on doing that if necessary...

Thank you. Appreciate your replies on several of my questions--all right on. It was quite simple to change the colors of the theme adequately and even more simple to eliminate the sidebar.

I don't found how to delete sidebar :/ I copy page.php and remove the get_sidebar and rename to forum but it don't work

its all in the wp theme... if your theme does come with a page template without sidebar, you need to do what you did - create the new page template your self...
did you edit the wp page the forum is on and select the new page template you created?
