Hello,
i'm happily chipping away at your 5.0.x versions so far, and it seems to come along nicely. However; a few days ago one essential function in our forums went haywire - in prior weeks, the latest posts from the subforums would show up just fine - now it says "no topics" in forumview, even if the subforums clearly contain some. Haven't really installed new plugins in either SP nor WP - please, could you take a look? I can't seem to get to the bottom of this.

P.S.: Sorry if this problem was already discussed. I went back a few pages, but i couldn't find anything that dealt exactly with my problems

Wow - that is most worrying. And no - this is the first such report and at the moment I am scratching my head a little...
The odd thing is I see no consistent pattern in where it has worked OK and where it has not which makes it harder to see what might be wrong.
Let's start with two questions. I see you have updated SP to version 5.0.5 (is that correct?) - did this issue start with that update?
If possible - would you be willing to let me have a backup copy of your database? Even if only the SP tables? So that I can load it into my development system and analyse the code alongside the data which would be the best way for me to see why this is happening.... if this were possible I assure you it would be simply to work on this issue and the DB would be destroyed when solved....

Sure thing - yeah, it came with 5.05. I'll gladly send you a copy of the DB (by PM?) as soon as i'm back at my station; give me one or two hours.

That will be great. It makes the task SO much easier with real data to work with.
Can you zip it up and email it please? To support at simple-press dot com.
But knowing it started with V5.0.5 at least gives me ahead start at looking at the code.
