I have my mobile theme set to "Stacked", however users that are browsing using a device running Android are getting the default theme.

You can see that this is in fact the case by testing it here:

not sure what that emulator is doing, but generally speaking android is nbeing recognized... certainly on the three different android phones the nSP team has...

what is not happening on the android phone in question?

remember, currently the forum is not responsive... so the primary thing nyou would see happen is a switch to the different mobile theme if you nhave enabled mobile support...

what version of Android are you testing with?

As I said, I have the mobile theme enabled to "Stacked" however users that are browsing with android are being served the default theme.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and HTC one X, both running android 4.0 - Ice-cream Sandwich

Running the site through the emulator confirms the behavior.

Is there any update as to when a responsive solution will be ready or if there are some true mobile themes? The biggest complaint I have from my membership is how difficult the site is to use on mobile devices since I made the switch to Simple Press.

when I visit the emulator, its not giving proper user agent strings...

so on your device running Ice Cream Sandwich, what is the user agent string it returns? see: http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ on the device... it might be the browser they are using too as its actually more browser specific than OS specific...

like wp, its the theme that determines mobile responsiveness, not the plugin... so yeah, we need some better mobile themes... no one has written one yet, so we have taken it on... Its deep into development and our primary focus... when will it be ready? I would hate to make an estimate but can say its probably end of first quarter, early second...
