Move Post To New Category Bug

I just wanted to report a bug that I found. When trying to move a post from one category to another, the post will not move into the new category. It simple goes to a blank page and does absolutely nothing. If you would like to see what I am talking about, I would be happy to let you log in and see for yourself so that you can see.

Also, may I recommend a "Report Bugs" section of your forums so that people can report them openly? Just a suggestion.

Well this is open and you are reporting something - although why you are doing it in the 'theme topics' forum I can't imagine.

And I doubt this is a bug. Well put it this way - it's not one I can replicate or has been reported before. it is more likely a conflict with something else.

if you know how to use Firebug or the developers console in Chrome/Safari - or the Firefox Error Console (although that may not help so much) can you see if any actual errors are reported when you try this action? Also it would be interesting to perhaps know the url that is on the blank page - if any.

The reason I posted in the Themes section is because "Pre-Release Topics" doesn't normally have anything to do with "support", Pre-Release Theme Topics doesn't either, nor does "Pre-Release Plugin Topics since this issue doesn't have anything to do with a plugin. So the closet match to support was the "theme" category. Sadly, after reading your post, I see that in the super small light colored text under Pre-Release Topics it says "Forum for general questions and/or issues". So my apologies for this. I would highly recommend a "support" named section to avoid this confusion though.

Anyways, I have not done anything out of the normal. You are more than welcome to log in and see for yourself if you wish.

I checked with Firebug and nothing appears to be wrong.

Also, is there any way to condense the header area at all? That just seems like a whole lot of space taken up by header content.

I would also like to make the text darker (Topics:, Posts:, Last Post:, Time:) on the forum main page view.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I think you are the second person to mention that particular Sky-Blue font color was a little too light. You can change it in the overlay file ,alt2color, but maybe it should be done in the SP supplied ones too.

Your Social login seems to take up quite a bit of room in the header also. Maybe just use the janrain login setup, like they do here, will remove some header space.

Thank for the color change information. Worked like a charm. By the way, how do you know what font is connected to what code?

As far as the social login is, once you log in with that stuff, it goes away and collapses like normal. Even then, it seems a little large for a header area.

you can look in the overlay...  each font color has a somewhat descriptive name...

or an even better way is to use Firefox and firebug addon and you can inspect any html or css and see where the css is located and even 'what if' changes...
