find the conflict... 

first step is to do temp switch to wp default theme... still an issue?  not the theme then...

second step, disable all other wp plugins... still an issue? no, then re-enable them one by one until it breaks and you at least know the conflict...

I think I might have had the same issue with the forum appearing twice.  Happened after I installed the NextGEN Facebook OG plugin which I had to deactivate.  Hope you guys can discover what the problem is.
