After their update there are no more covers in all the themes.

Hi,
I'm using a default child theme and having updated simple press I'm getting the exact same problem with that child theme.
If I revert to the default theme, no problem.
I've tried the suggestions in the link...updated all components, selected 'Reset Combined CSS Cache', and unchecked the option to use the combined CSS cache.
Is there anything else I can do?

default theme works okay? but your default child theme does not?
would suggest a problem with the default child... can you elaborate on what you have done to create your child? see this too: https://simple-press.com/docum.....ild-theme/

I've actually just followed the new (or new to me) guidelines to create a new child theme, and it works again. I wonder if that's it...a year or two ago I don't recall downloading a child framework for example.
Anyway, thanks and I've added all my old customizations. Only one problem I can see, a recurrence of an old problem with my full size image pop ups. I'll add that issue to a more appropriate thread. Cheers...

both the guide and the child frameworks have only recently been added with the release of 5.5.5...
