I've just completed an update to Simple Press and been told that someone using an iPad can't paste into the forum. I tried on my android phone, and also couldn't paste. I tried with both the default and unified themes.
I don't know if this never worked or just started not working.

By the way... what theme is this that your using? I can't type on the unified theme from my phone, but could here.

on mobile devices here we are running stock, completely unchanged unified...
Just ran some tests on a multiple test sites and no issue with typing, pasting etc on unified or regular theme...
do you have a link to your site?

My phone may be the issue as it has them ;0), but the iPad pasting I'd like to get resolved if it is possible.

have you pasted with an ipad here? seems to work for me... but again, it may be ipad version dependent as older ipads (ios version really) do have js problems...

I don't have an iPad, I've had two people who do attempt it on our forum. Are you saying the older iPad may not be able to paste but the newer ones can? I just need to understand, so I can ask those questions of those that are having problems.
I can not, with my phone paste anywhere. I also have issues typing on the forum I'm speaking of, and was able to here. That is most likely an issue with my phone as I can't always type period. I just thought I'd ask about the theme here.

older ipads may be running an older version of iOS (the operating system)... each version apple improves the javascript in the OS... as an example, in older ipads, wp disables tinymce from working, but if you have ipad3 or higher, it enables it... all because of the ios support...
