Always best to fix the root of the problem! Let us know how you get on.
Very True. Well still having issues. I changed my WP theme. un-installed any un used WP plug-ins,
any other simplepress theme and overlay work fine, even when logged out. I just set the Guest permission to no Access for now in the forums. I will keep trying other settings and let you know. I really want the Reboot theme to work without making some kind of static page or other method for guests.
Cheers
It is more than bizarre as the theme itself has no impact on - or indeed cares about - the logged in status of a user. Which to me still suggests something you have doing something differently.
Are you using the CSS cache? (Options > Global Settings) If so try turning it off to see if that makes any difference

A colleague reminded me to ask if you are using Sucuri Firewall and Cloud Proxy. If so you may beed to update some components from them.
I use Ninja-Firewall for the moment. Its just strange on the account all the other themes don't have this issue. I am still looking thru my admin panel at certain settings. hopefully i will find a solution.

It does sound like the problem that was had with Sucuri which resulted them into adding a whitelisting.
gotcha I will keep checking to see if any changes can be altered with in Ninja Firewall. Will definitely let you know.
Thanks for all the help and input. its very appreciated.
Actually I don't know! The user arranged for Sucuri to add a whitelisting - I assume to the url of the reboot php (CSS) file which you can get by looking at the source code being loaded.
I know even less about NInja Firewall. Is that a service like Sucuri or is it something you are in control of? If the latter then surely there must be some place to add whitelistings...
