its your wp navigation thing doing it... forcing that space... css ID of #nav
how to fix is a different issue... dont see an easy way, but will keep looking...

hmmm interesting. would doing some kind of negative margin help pull the content up? ill try i few things and see what i come up with. thx for your help.

I fixed the problem. I changed the #nav position from 'relative' to 'absolute' and its fixed.
