How do I remove a link to the homepage of sp 5.0
What is the name of the file and what directory?

in 5.0 most things are theme driven... so you can remove the sp link (also known as acknowledgments) by editing your spFoot.php template file in the sp theme you are using and removing the template tag for the acknowledgments... of course, we highly recommend that you make your own theme before making the edits (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)
