did you try it here as requested? wondering if its an issue with the mobile template function and not the theme... guessing so, but looking for confirmation.. no worries if you cant - I will later tonight and open a ticket if the case...

it's a pain to follow posts where you post several pictures with them cascading down like that

can you try a quick test for me? in simple-press/forum/content/sp-common-view-functions.php, around line 1458, find this code in function sp_QuickLinksTopicMobile():
$spList = new spTopicList('', $show, true, true, '', 0, 1, 'topic quick links mobile');
and change it to:
$spList = new spTopicList('', $show, true, '', 0, 1, 'topic quick links mobile');
and see if that solves it for you... what is odd, not sure how it would ever work even for users... odd...
think it will resolve it..
