Is it normal for various formatting elements to not work on the responsive theme?
I notice that an bold text I have is no longer bold
here is an image:
It clearly is bold as the html says it is. We can't change that. Unless you have changed it the font will be inherited from your WP theme so - if you go back to that console image (if Firebug) and look at the CSS on the right hand side you will see what rules have been applied. And if you look at the 'Computed' section that will show explicitly what has been applied.

You have still missed out the third bit of information.
What actual CSS styling is being applied and from what source?
Do you really think that in our SP stylesheet we specifically set the 'strong' attribute to use a 'normal' font weight? Why would we do that? And if you really do believe that then I challenge you to find it in any of our CSS.
So - the most important piece of information is - what styling is causing it and what is the source of that styling?
If it is public then give me a link to the post and let me take a look.

you're getting very defensive sounding btw,
no one is attacking you... tone it down a bit.

Bold only stopped working when I switched to the responsive theme so this is a valid enquiry
who's being defensive? we are just asking for data to troubleshooting it... images dont really help... being requesting an actual link...
what's the full path of the css file there? is this a secret/private site or can you provide a link?
nobody said it wasnt valid... really, just trying to gather info... not sure why that's so hard to understand... may be a valid bug issue... or not... but just needs research...
is this in unified in desktop mode or mobile?
