Hello the google+ link in profile identities is acting strange.
I enter this - "+TheoPatsios"
and it generates this - http://plus.google.com/u/+Theo.....heoPatsios
Where do I need to look to fix this?

Not sure - I can replicate your issue so will need to look into the code. Have opened a bug report and will try and take a look as soon as I can...

OK - let me start out by saying that I am not a Google+ user and know nothing about it. So perhaps you can hep me out here... what, exactly SHOULD the URL be in your case?

google.com/+TheoPatsios is all that is needed
but http://plus.google.com/+TheoPatsios would also work.
it just appears to add "+TheoPatsios" twice and the "/u/" part.

I have opened a discussion with the colleague who wrote the code but he is actually away from home at the moment so it is not easy.
But I can talk you through a temporary fix if you wish and do not mind making a small code edit.

OK - the file to edit is /simple-press/forum/content/sp-topic-view-functions.php
This is a big file! The function you need is down around line 1715 or so and is called sp_PostIndexUserGooglePlus()
Find the line that starts:
$out = "<a id='$tagId'...
and in there you will quickly see the repeating '/$spThisPostUser->googleplus' which needs to be removed. just remove and save.
meanwhile - as I say - I have an open ticket and an open conversation about this and it will get oatched up for the next update of Simple:Press,
