Hey sorry to be bothering you guys but is it possible to tell me the value for the sp_GroupOpenClose to be closed by default

I have found the code in spGroupView.php this is I think the output by default

sp_GroupOpenClose('tagClass=spIcon spRight&default=open', 'Open forum listing', 'Close forum listing');

What should I change from this to have all groups closed by default ?

Is there a way to make the groups open on hover aswell or does this need customization ?

no, to open hover would require some additional customization to make it work...  certainly, doable, just not as in sp today...
