Hi
I'd like to use the Iforum template, but activating it makes an "internal" scroll bar appear. (With internal I mean alongside the colomn

This theme was largely experimental and following the sort of style that came about with the ipad so the scrolling sections are intentional as are the cut-down elements available of the full themes.
This is defined in the CSS file (iForum.php) a long way down in the section:
/* SPECIALS */ #spMainContainer .spIforumMin { max-height: 750px; overflow: auto; }
and if you want to remove it I would just completely remove it or comment it out.
As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)

Sure did. I just /* commented out */ that part - no scrollbar along the forum itself now.
Thanks

Gosh - you have been working away at it! You need to adjust the column widths on the stats area of the topicview if you decide to keep them. One day I need to work the topic list down the left in that view as well.... one day!

I got this theme as the main theme now and I kind of like this layout - especially when the site has hardly any posts and starting out.
I am curious why more people are not using the iForum theme - I could not find a single site using it (from the URL's posted on your forum). Infact even the poster above seems to have switched to the default theme. Is there any known issues with it?
No currently known issues... we have found a few using, but not that many as you note...
if you get your site operational with it, we could consider adding it to our showcase...
