doesnt look like you have given the forum its just width on the wp theme... super narrow there... so would suggest one of four things...

1)  remove some buttons from tinymce so it fits...

2)  switch to a diff sp theme like stacked that orients things differently...

3) switch to a different editor than tinymce

4)  switch your wp theme to use a full width page template on the forum page...

Yes - it is something we need to fix up. We are getting there slowly. Until it is fixed you just need to give the window a little more width when you use the site...

You Only need to set the width of the text box as the forum width
Do not expand it over the Sidebar

except its tinymce... set in an iframe by js...  and the buttons force its width outside...  might be possible modifying the tinymce themes to force an overflow hide situation but that wont help any...

really just need to remove some buttons or move to second row...

OK,
Is it possible to disable the transparency of the buttons area?

Are you referring to the tinyMCE editor buttons? If so then the CSS for this can be found at

your-forumplugin-folder/tinymce-richtext/resources/themes/advanced/skins/the-skin-you-use/ui.css

At least I believe that is the right file you would need. It might be content.css which, if you chanbge iot, can then be moved to your forum theme styles/ folder. I will need to check that with Steve.
