I will eliminate the Unified theme and then reinstall it... making sure it's gone from the server. But I will try first, before installing the translation files. Can't think of anything else...

Same problem: I deleted the theme and reinstalled it. Did not change the language at all. I set Unified for the tablet, refreshed the page on the ipad and there were the error messages. One weird thing: I clicke on Register, then I user the back arrow and the errors were not there! As I refreshed the errors were back! Me not happy 🙁

I did not understand the problem but I found a way to solve it. Maybe 😀
Also my friends as you did not have this problem. Anyway: I chose "blue" when setting Unified for both tablet and mobile. But at the bottom of the forum, when the user can change the Theme, I had "Default" set. I set it to Blue manually and all works now. Still: this is weird, maybe you can understand why it does that.
I am now proceeding again with the Italian language... thanks a lot!

Ah yes - I had looked at it on the phone earlier. Forgot it was reboot. Just remembered no errors.
The theme selection plugin - did we establish that it is up to date? - Version 1.3.2 ? That could be an oissiue if it is not.
The other possibility - and I can set up some tests here - is that the theme 'overlay' set in the cookie was looking for an overlay that does not exist. For example - if you set it using Reboot to 'light-blue' ands then removed reboot and used Unified - there is no light-blue overlay - i.e., one by that name.
As I say p I will test this today. But it might be worth you removing the cookie on your PC and then trying it all again. I will let you now if I find anything along those lines. And if I do then it will be an easy fix I believe,

Hi YS, thanks for your reply.
As I explained the problem is now solved. I did have everything up to date but the problem was that before setting Unified I had Reboot in blue (I am fairly sure of that). Then I put Unified with "blue" and had all the problems we discussed about. Eventually I noticed that at the bottom of the forum Theme was set to Default. I changed to blue and the problem went. I got my friends to change Theme to Default and others and could not replicate! So I am not really sure what went wrong but it is something to do with the settings I had before changing to Unified and nothing to do with the language change.
Again thanks a lot for your help. And Unified is a beautiful theme, I am also using it for the desktop now. Users happy so far 😀 Have another problem but I will open a new post for it.
Have a nice day/evening (here's 11am)
Giovanna
