OK, I took the plunge with SP5 on Fiddlerman.com
When I reply to a forum post the top toolbar is missing. Tried some of the suggestions found on a similar thread here.
- Turned off minify.
- Checked that the call to WP wp_footer(); was present on the footer.php
- Checked that the Load Javascript in footer was not activated.
Any suggestions?
Also my recent posts widget disappeared after the upgrade and I can't get the sidebar to display the recent posts anymore.

May be a dumb question but did you download and activate the TinyMCE editor plugin? And the template tag plugin? You will need both. And the recent posts tag has changed name so you will need to go into your theme widgets page and remove the old (if still there) and drag the new one into its place.

Thanks for pointing out that we are working with plugins now. I'm installing almost all of them as I write. Will be back with a progress report soon. You guys are great. Can always count on your support.

thanks! does take a bit to get used to the plugins and themes... but rather than having bloated core, you only grab the plugins you need!

When loading my forum http://fiddlerman.com/forum
the fields look strange until fully loaded. The "Select Forum" field overlaps to the right. You'll understand if you load it and watch it during the process.
I must say that I am super impressed by all that you have done with this plugin. Also love the PM look and functuality improvements. I made another donation for all your great work. I encourage everyone using Simple:Press to do whatever you can to help these guys out. 
Fiddlerman has really taken off and I think that the forum is a real attribute to the whole. I'm getting over 800 unique visitors per day after 14 months online, and it's growing fast.
