Ike, will this be included in the next update? I forgot to mention I also had to edit the mobile in the reboot folder as well as the reboot child for it to work.

Yep - it will be included so you shouldn't need to update the core theme again, your fix will be replaced by the updated fix, even if ours is slightly different (as said haven't had a chance to properly test being a holiday).
It was specifically a new rule to be added to reboot-mobile.php, is that what you meant? Or was there something else you had to add?

I thought you meant I needed to move the mobile.php to my child theme with the changes

Found another issue with reboot on mobile, clicking first or last post link is next to impossible, finding the same thing in chrome and firefox on here and my own site, can anyone replicate?
