I really liked the visual appeal that version 4.x had. The column dividers between each column just made it look really sharp. The look of 5.0 is just kind of cartoonish and bubbly...if I had knowledge of CSS, I'm sure I could edit it to make it look like 4.x did, but I'm not familiar with it at all.
Are there any themes being built (or available already) that I can upload that look like 4.x did?
I also don't have any forum headings like Forums, Last Post, Topics and Posts like 4.x did...I'll attach the screenshot I took from the homepage for comparison.
well, sorry, but you are in the minority of disliking the appearance of 5.0... but it is a personal preference... and no matter what we do, we cant please everyone...
and now that its theme based, you can make it appear however you want... the sp themes have the same flexibility of wp themes... with the previous skins, all you could really do was change the colors... layout was fixed... now you lay it out however you want...
as to your headings, if you want them, you can add them to your sp theme...
